Good Friends, Good Food, Good Times

I got to see some long lost friends last night, and let me tell you, it made my day! Devin and Josh came over, and Andrew, and Brittainy, and Krystina. We made tacos and they were yummy. Then we jumped in the pool. But it started storming...and you know we hid under floaties in the pool until the rain subsided. Doesn't really make sense right? I mean we were already getting wet from the pool. But that rain was cold!

We watched Baby Mama, hilarious movie! And we even had bunt cake cupcakes :) complete with the 4th of July funfetti!

Have I ever mentioned that the 4th of July is like on my list of top Holidays? Well, it is. I'm a very patriotic person and I just love it. The 4th of July service at church is my all time favorite. Yes, better than Christmas! What can I say, I'm a history major :)

Same 'ol Same 'ol

My life is boring.

I work, which is fun. But after work. Nothing. But more work.

My house no longer has holes in the floor! woohoo!

I bought a "new" refrigerator.

I was given a "new" dryer.

I purchased two great new CD's last night. You should check out Coldplay and A Fine Frenzy on Amazon this month.

I was unexpectedly paid today from a job done long ago.

I get closer to moving out every single day.

Best thing about this week? Getting to see my best friend today and a phone call from a special someone. Does he know he's special? why of course not. That's mine...and a few other people's little secret :)

New Beginnings

I started a new job yesterday!!! It is basically a dream job. I get to work with the sweet ladies in the church office 3 days a week :) This is a gift from God. I've been searching and praying for a job and when I stopped looking, God gave me one. He is amazing.

I miss my friends oh so much. I'm so ready for school to start it's not even funny. That way I will see those that I love every day. :)

I'm ready to move out. I know I keep saying that, but I keep envisioning my beautiful house...or how beautiful it will become and picture future memories and fun that those walls with be able to witness and I can't wait.

Anyways, off to look for my lost car keys.

Something Old

Today, I went antique shopping. I LOVE old things :) I found two wonderful items for my new house and I'm so excited about getting to go back and get more stuff! I'll post all the cool things I find, but so far here they are!




That's a coffee pot identical to one that my Pappy had when I was growing up, and the other is my new night stand :) I'm so excited!!!

I've Got A Feeling

Do you ever just get a feeling about something? I do. And boy. Sometimes it's not fun. I hate confrontation. Period. I know that's a flaw, but I just hate that feeling of calling someone out. Especially someone that I love dearly. To keep my mind off of things I went to the bookstore! Never a good thing for my wallet I can promise you that. I spent way to much, but I stocked up on some classics that I've been meaning to read for ages. My current read is Anna Karenina. I highly suggest it. I'm only a third of the way through though, so if my opion changes, I'll let you know :)

Clean, Clean, Clean

Today, I'm cleaning my room. Yes spring cleaning has long passed me by, but it must be done. All the sorting, laundry, and dusting that comes with cleaning a room that probably hasn't been touched in almost a year. Eh it happens. It is fun to find all the cool things that have been hidden in your room when you clean. It brings back so many sweet memories of friends, loved ones, and special occasions. I love going back in time. Yesterday I got to spend some time with my wonderful friend Tonia drooling over dresses :) I also got to see my best friend Devin! I love her so much and I am not ready for her to move away from me. But that's life. I should get used to it.
